To impart education in different branches of agriculture and allied sciences as it may deem fit.

To further the advancement of learning and conducting of research in agricultural and allied sciences.

To undertake programmes of extension education particularly in Bundelkhand region.

To promote partnership and linkages with national and international educational institutions.

To undertake such other activities as it may, from time to time, determine.
